What is Meditation?

Meditation is the act of paying attention in a specific way. It is focusing one’s mind on one’s immediate experience, disconnecting from mental noise, observing the flow of sensations, thoughts and feelings without becoming entangled in them. Meditation begins with a set of simple instructions to practice. Once these are learned and integrated, the principles of meditation begin to seep into every aspect of one’s life.

Mindfulness Training Workshops

I offer meditation classes in various settings, with individuals, group classes, corporate settings, workshops and ongoing instruction & guidance. Sessions can range from a brief introduction to in-depth discussions & lectures covering the philosophy, ethics and science behind mindfulness practice.

2-3 hour workshops which including a presentation on leading neuroscience & psychology
