Lonely Guru music

I have been playing guitar and singing alone in my room since I was teenager but recently my own songs have started bubbling up. I am delighted to share them with you. At first the lyrics were serious and pretentious. Nothing felt right. Then one day it clicked when a song making fun of my secret desires to be a guru came through, “Lonely Guru.” This music is about poking fun at our foibles, musing about the meaning of life and bringing to light the ways in which we give ourselves a hard time. Though the songs are rough around the edges I think they capture how weird and wonderful it is being a human being. I hope they will make you laugh and make you think. Enjoy!
